This is Bubba. He passed at 10 years of age, just two months shy of his 11th Birthday. Cancer took him from us sooner than expected. To know Bubba was to love him. He never met a stranger that he didn't love. He was no typical basset hound, other than his love for food and sleep. He was adventurous, as his nose would take him exploring all the smells of farm life. We stayed up late together many nights nursing life back into baby lambs or goat kids. He only complained when he didn't get his way. He would also tattletale on his siblings (human or animal) when they would do anything wrong. He was always happy to greet anyone who came through the door. 10 years growing up with him as my best friend just wasn't long enough. Bubba will forever be missed and all the memories will be cherished.
