Our dog that passed away was our German shepherd, Captain. He was everything you'd ever want in a family dog. He'd lean on you when you'd cry and he would listen every time you talked. We got him as a puppy and he had a really rough start from a terrible puppy mill. There was a time where we thought he wouldn't make it. Then against all odds, he did, and he was the goofiest, sweetest dog you'd ever meet. He protected our family from an attempted break in and he kept watch on our family every night for 9 years. The day he passed ended up being what we hope was one of his best days ever. We had all of our family over and he got so many treats and played outside in the perfect weather all day. We love you, Captain.
