Obituary

"Chelsea (aka Piglet aka Diva aka DiNi) was sassy, opinionated, cute, spunky, particular, and most importantly so lovable! From the very first day we adopted her she took our hearts and ran…but literally…she scared us half to death as we were driving her to her new home with us and she catapulted herself out of arms onto the dashboard of our moving vehicle trying to escape. We knew it would take some time for her to adjust. It actually didn't take as long as we thought it would. She quickly took on a role of being "motherly" towards her older dog brother and she quickly let us know you can't but this baby in a cage. She was a free spirit and called the shots! She LOVED car rides and looking extra cute at the drive up windows to get either a pup-cup or a doggy treat or a French fry or even a whole piece of bacon! She had a very curious nature and she was the best escape artist (hence DiNi short for Houdini)! She could be a lapdog when she chose to be and affectionate when it was the right time for her. If she didn't like something she would voice her opinion or take her bickering to her favorite little stuffy toys. There are so many fond memories and stories we could share with you. We just pray that as she is fully at peace and no longer in pain, that she is having all the fun car rides/wind in her face, eating all her favorite foods, running around with her older dog brother(s), and knows that she was the bestest and most goodest girl! We loved her so much and will continue to love her and cherish all the memories we had! We might have adopted her but the biggest honor was when she recognized us as her family/pack family! Run freely baby girl and we love you so much!"
