Chiquita Strayhorn
This is Chiquita. She was a 10 year old chihuahua. She was born around June 2016.
Chiquita was more than a dog. She was my best friend, my comfort, and a piece of my heart for ten wonderful years. She was smart enough to open water bottles, silly enough to do handstands so the grass wouldn't touch her, and loving enough to always know when I needed her most. She followed me everywhere, rubbed her face against mine as I did it back as our way of a hug, stole my spot in bed, and filled our home with laughter and love. She helped me through some of the hardest times in my life and spent her final years surrounded by the family who adored her. She was Shadow's teacher, her daddy's little girl, and forever my Wha Cha. No amount of time will ever be enough, but I am grateful for every moment we shared. I will love and miss her for the rest of my life.
