The winter night when we met Clover at the pound is a memory I will never forget. She came around the corner almost pulling the volunteer over as she strained at the leash, desperately trying to get closer to us. Instant love. Clover was not a perfect dog, I have to admit. She had a mischievous streak. She caused us all manner of problems and vet bills. And she never grew out of it, she was always that crazy pup we picked up from the shelter. But wow did she teach us! We became more understanding and more patient. I am so grateful she never changed! Clover loved babies of all types. Every kitten, puppy, and baby chick we raised had Clover as a careful nanny. I think her heart was forever young. We were so lucky to have her for ten years, but I wish it could've been 10 more. I guess no amount of time is enough. We love you Clo, we'll see you again! Special thank you to Furrever Pet Crematorium for their service and support.
