Obituary

Copper was Fifteen years old when my wife and I decided to lay him down to rest. On Saturday September 6, 2025 he had been sick for the last three months we didn't want him suffering no more.
He was a big part of our Family he belonged to my two year old granddaughter Liliana who is now Seventeen. but my wife and I ended up raising him not knowing that he was a blessing in our lives, he became my wife's service dog he saved her life several times when my wife's blood sugar was too low or out of control he would bark so loud he would get her attention to wake up or alert us that something was not right with my wife's health. fifteen years ago our Bassett Hound Buster that we had before Copper ran away we never found him one day my Daughter was looking for another Basset Hound and these two Lady friends who found Cooper astray were neighbors and were looking for someone to take him off there hands so my daughter found out about a free puppy to be given away to a good home and that's how Copper became part of our family. Well I was not too excited about having another dog in our home so as a puppy I didn't want him I asked my daughter to take him back where she got him well on the second day we had him he ended getting sick and $480.00 later he ended up at the vet diagnosed with parvo that's what changed my mind about keeping him cause he survived.
My family and I can't get over how hard it's been to have our COPPER JOE no longer as part of our lives he was so much loved by all who got to know him.
