Dally a/k/a Dally Wally a/k/a Dallas a/k/a ScrewStone a/k/a Dal a/k/a The Love of my Life

I got Dally when I was 19 years old and still living with my mom. My dad helped he train him and he learned to do lots of tricks. He learned how to shake, sit, give high fives, and speak. I sometimes regretted teaching him how to speak because I don't think he ever stopped. The one thing I didn't have to teach Dally is how to be a best friend. He already knew how to do that and man, was he good at it. He was always happy to see me, no matter what mood I was in. He was never mad at me, disappointed in me, or ashamed of me. He loved me for who I was and what I did, right or wrong.

Dally was three years old when we moved in with, my boyfriend at the time, Austin. That was a big change to Dally but he eventually adjusted and found someone else besides me to love. He loved Austin ALMOST as much as he loved me. Almost.

Dally has seen me accomplish a lot of things in life. Like moving out on our own with Austin, take college courses for his entire life, but he was so happy for me when I came home from graduation in May 2023. Austin proposed in October 2023 and Dally was right there on the couch with me when it happened. This dog has been there for me through literally everything. He has been and always will be my best friend. A huge piece of my heart is missing but it will just take some getting used to. Woodrow and Birdee will hold down the fort for you buddy. We miss you so much down here but we can't wait to see you in heaven someday. 🤍
