Ginger was 17 years old. We adopted her 10 years ago as rescue dog. Although Linda had picked Ginger out initially, Ginger immediately attached herself to me. One of the most endearing memories of Ginger I have is how she would follow me around the house and when I would enter a room, she would come just inside the doorway and then turn around and face out the doorway as if protecting me from any intruders. Ginger traveled the country with us in our motorhome and car. Ginger was a great dog, loyal companion and wonderful walking companion. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.
