I received Harley from my step son in May of 2010. He was 5 weeks old and very afraid, he hid under the bed for the first week I had him. I had little knowledge of the two breeds Harley was, German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. To say he was a challenge is an understatement but we figured it out in time. We went through some hard times together; he was always by my side no matter what. He was loyal, brave, and regal. He loved his family especially my two grandsons and granddaughter. He was our fierce protector. He was the best dog I could ever dream of. He was my best friend, companion, and confidant.
The loss for my family and I is devastating but we have so many great memories. He was 6 weeks shy of 14 years old. He was so loved.
