Huggy was a silly name for a wonderful, kind, gentle and generous soul. He was rescued twice - and I was so lucky to be able to give him his permanent home. I adopted him partly to be a friend for my single cat Penelope, and although she hesitated at first, his patient and playful ways won her over. They became best friends, and constant companions. She passed 6 months before he did. Huggy was enormous - 20 pounds of pure love! - and had an enormous spirit to match. He was a true friend, and in spite of a rough start, had a zen-like calm and trust in life. I appreciate all he taught me, and the time we spent together. I miss his presence, and will love him always.
