Kashi was born in Los Lunas, New Mexico on September 29, 2012. Kashi is survived by her loving and heartbroken family; her human parents, Rick and Patrica, canine sister, Tundra, and feline sister, Ricki. She is preceded in crossing the rainbow bridge by Koko in 2015, Sasha in 2023, and Apollo 4 months ago.



We met her shortly after her birth and fell in love with her and her two siblings. We could only pick one and Kashi was chosen! She became the third of our dogs along with Koko and Sasha. We chose the name Kashi (K from Koko, ashi from our Sasha that we called Sashi.) We looked up and discovered that Kashi meant happy in Chinese! She was certainly a happy girl. She loved to be a lap dog! She enjoyed warm comfy blankets and she had an amazing personality. Even saying grace before she ate! 💜 She also had the longest lashes!



Koko and Kashi would play catch me if you can by running around the furniture. It was a happy household with these three fur babies. Sasha and Kashi were always together! They would sleep together and share a lap too! When Apollo and Tundra joined the family, Kashi was vocal about them toeing the line!!



Kashi moved with us from New Mexico to Tennessee, then to Texas this past summer.



Our home is much less quiet without her and we are all mourning her sudden passing. We are thankful and grateful to God for her life and that she spent her life with us. We greatly miss her.
