We thought we rescued Nui, but really she rescued us! She was kind, silly, and quirky. She loved with her entire being, and lived for her freedom to take off running. I see her now in green pastures and wide open spaces with no pain, running with free abandon. I know she is reunited with her Best Friend, Chuck the Great Golden, and they will be there waiting for us when our time comes.
