In Loving Memory of Oreo Torres

February 1, 2006 – July 17, 2026

It is with broken hearts that we announce that Oreo Torres, beloved daughter, sister, and best friend, crossed the rainbow bridge on July 17, 2026, at the age of 20. Though she was small in size, Oreo's presence filled every corner of her home and every heart she touched.

Oreo was so much more than a pet — she was a daughter in every way that mattered. From the day she came into the family, she made it clear that she was in charge, taking on the role of big sister and Alpha to her fur siblings Rocky, Bentley, Sadie, and Toby. Ever the protector, Oreo checked on her siblings constantly, keeping a watchful eye over her pack even while she gave them a run for their money chasing them gleefully around the yard.

Oreo was a dog of many talents and even more mischief. She scaled baby gates around the house with the agility of a tiny superhero, earning her the nickname "Spider-Man" among those who witnessed her gravity-defying climbs. She delighted in keeping her mommy on her toes, making a game of running away at feeding time and finding creative hiding spots — her favorite being burrowed deep in a pile of her daddy's clothes.

But above all else — above even her cherished pink dog toy — Oreo loved her daddy. Theirs was a bond that words simply cannot capture. She had an uncanny sense for when he needed her, waking him when he needed it most, and looking into his eyes with a quiet understanding that said she always knew exactly what he needed to hear. Her loyalty to him was unwavering, unconditional, and unforgettable.

When Oreo crossed the rainbow bridge, she was joyfully reunited with her fur brother and lifelong partner in crime, Rocky, who had been waiting for her.

Oreo leaves behind her Daddy Jason, and Mommy Jessica, who loved her beyond measure. She is also survived by her fur siblings Bentley, Sadie, and Toby; her Grandma Josie; and her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and fur cousins, all of whom were lucky enough to know her spirited, loving heart.

Oreo's twenty years were filled with mischief, devotion, and love that ran deeper than words. She may have been tiny, but she leaves behind an enormous space in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of loving her.

Run free, sweet girl. Until we meet again at the rainbow bridge.
