Slash Budrow wasn't just a dog, he was a beloved member of our family and a vital part of our story. When I think of him I am flooded with memories that span his entire life with us.
He was our constant source of joy and comfort through all of life's changes. It was all about living in the moment with him. He was all about cuddling and completely obsessed with belly rubs. His presence made our house a home filling it with warmth and laughter. His quirks made our days brighter- the way he would sigh dramatically when he didn't get his way, his absolute conviction that the vacuum cleaner, weed eater, leaf blower and squirrels were pure evil.
Though Slash has crossed the rainbow bridge, the paw prints and wet nose nudges he left on our hearts will remain forever.
Slash, thank you for the 12 years and 2 days of unwavering loyalty, unconditional love and countless memories. I thank God every day for blessing us with a soul so gentle and precious it shined through in your eyes. Our home will never be the same without you. You were the goodest boy and you will never be forgotten.
