got Slider back in late 2018, a month or so after losing my boyfriend Todd to cancer. He was with me when I moved apartments, and when I lost Leeroy and Hank in 2020. He was with me when I got a new job with the City of Lubbock, and was with me when I moved here to Amarillo in October of 2022.

He had a brief affair with our guinea pig Reese and had three beautiful pups Oreo, Otis and Peace. He did his best to raise them and I have three beautiful guinea pigs that will always remind me of him.

I will miss him so much, we went through so much together it's never easy to say goodbye. I saw you getting older, I saw you getting smaller, I saw you eating less, and I saw the way you looked at me to let me know it was time. I hope Kyle and I made you the happiest piggie in the world. Be good to Leeroy and Hank, there's plenty of veggies and hay fuzzies to go around.
