Spice Mama was originally named Spice by my son when he adopted from the pound her 14 ½ years ago. She was pregnant and we kept one puppy. I added the name mama because she was the best mama to her puppy, Littles. Up until 2 years ago when she got diabetes and became blind and deaf she would clean Littles face and ears every morning. Spice mama was able to find her way around the house and even the dog door up until her death. She was a great companion traveling in our RV. She even road on the kayak this summer. Weeks before we laid her to rest, she had developed seizures and high anxiety. We loved that little girl, Spice Mama.
