Trixie was rescued from the city and she choose me! She followed me from her cage and never took her eyes off me. I knew immediately she was meant for my family. Trixie accompanied to my job in a nursing home for several years, bringing joy to all of its residents and employees. She loved water and played in the pool with my kiddos. Although she never had puppies, she was very maternal and once, stole a kitten from a barn cat, hid it in her bed to nap with it. Trixie brought our family 16 years of unconditional love and joy. She was a tiny little thing, and even though we adopted younger, bigger dogs into our family fold, they all knew Trixie was in charge! It was funny to watch an 11 pound Queen bring a 50 pound fur-sibling to submission with a stare and single bark. All she wanted was to be on a warm lap, giving kisses! Our family often joked "She couldn't hold her lick-er!" Trixie will be missed forever!
